About Us

Welcome to the CCRAS Publications Book Sale Portal, your official online platform for purchasing authentic publications by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) – an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. At CCRAS, we are dedicated to the advancement of Ayurvedic research and knowledge dissemination. Our publications represent decades of clinical research, classical text translations, monographs, medicinal plant studies, technical reports, and evidence-based findings aimed at promoting and preserving the rich heritage of Ayurveda. Over the past several decades, CCRAS has undertaken a wide range of research projects, including clinical trials, drug standardization, medicinal plant studies, literary research, and tribal health documentation. He represented India in five different countries, in various capacity, including the WHO meeting on herb-drug interaction at Beijing and Pharmacovigilance at Geneva. Prof Acharya is the recipient of the Best Teacher Award for drug research teaching and the Best Research Paper Award for Literary research, in the field of Ayurveda conferred by CCRAS. Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi, prestigious IASTAM Shri Gopaldas Parikh Award for Contributions to drug development and Late Shri Ram Krishna Pandey Memorial Service Excellence Award.

Vision

To develop scientific evidence in Ayurvedic Principles, drug therapies by way of integrating ancient wisdom with modern technology and to bring Ayurveda to the people through scientific innovations related to diagnostics, preventive, promotive as well as treatment methods and also introduce scientific research for sustained availability of quality natural resources, to translate them into products and processes and in synergy with concerned organizations to introduce these innovations into public health systems.”
